The Cranky is a crankbait existing in swimming or slow-sinking options crafted for serious predator fishing. With its bold wide wobble and rolling action, it dives cleanly from 50 cm down to 1.5m, covering the strike zone where pike and musky hunt. Silent and rattle-free, it won’t spook pressured fish, yet its exaggerated movement demands attention and provokes crushing strikes.
Some Cranky models are equipped with Owner SJ-38 single hooks, mounted on Owner Hyper Wire split rings (4/0 + #6 on the belly, 3/0 + #5 on the tail), offering maximum reliability straight out of the box. Single hooks provide solid hooksets while making releases faster and easier, especially for undersized fish.
Other versions come fitted with BKK Spear 21 UV treble hooks. These are typically supplied in size 1/0 and a preset hook color as standard.
If you’d like to customize your setup, 2/0 hooks are available on request, and you can also choose your preferred hook color: Yellow, Orange, or Pink.
